I started my editing career as a trainee in a film cutting room syncing up and filing trims on Arena Documentaries. After a year, I joined the BBC and worked on The Monocled Mutineer and The Singing Detective; since then I have continued in Film and TV drama.
After assisting Robin Sales for many years I branched out as an Editor in my own right. I started editing short films including 'is It The Design On The Wrapper', which won the short film award in Cannes.
Since becoming an Editor I have worked on a number of critically acclaimed and BAFTA winning projects, including Wallander, Much Ado About Nothing & Summer. In 2010 I won the BAFTA for Drama Editing for the Channel 4 production 'Mo'.
Recently I have been listed in Broadcast as one of the top 50 women in film and television.
